The Western Carolina Home Place, Inc. was incorporated in August 2001. Licensed by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors under the license #49984, The Western Carolina Home Place builds both “spec” homes and custom homes. Our custom homes are built using cost-plus fixed fee contracts. The Western Carolina Home Place is also licensed by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission to provide Real Estate services in North Carolina under Firm License # C12445.
Beginning in early 2002, The Western Carolina Home Place, Inc. began offering Hardwood Flooring services, specializing in dust containment sanding and utilizing some of the industry’s most technologically up-to-date equipment. We use only Bonakemi products, and are fully experienced in applying any finishing products offered by Bonakemi.We recently added the Atomic 110 to our arsenal of floor sanding equipment. With the Atomic 110, we are able to offer the ultimate in dust containment available on the market today. The Atomic 110 system is the only floor finishing system approved by Greenguard® as a healthy alternative for finishing wood floors.”
In 2005, The Western Carolina Home Place, Inc. opened it’s showroom on Monticello Road in Weaverville, NC and added 6 lines of cabinetry and a variety of laminated, solid surface and hard surface countertops to it’s offerings. The showroom has become a favorite of local contractors and individual home owners alike in helping to make critical decisions about hardwood flooring and cabinetry and countertops.
We recently moved to a new location at 5 Tri City Plaza, Suite B, just 2 minutes from the original showroom location. We now have over 2000 sq. ft. of displays; including cabinetry, countertops, hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, exterior siding and much more. Our new location doubles as a showroom for those interested in cabinetry, countertops and hardwood flooring, and as a home design center for those interested in our services for building a custom home.
